EP’s racks transform rotational movement to linear motion when utilised with spur gears. It is designed to operate with our stock 14 1/2° and 20° PA spur gears. It can be modified for specific purposes, such as drilling and tapping mounting holes, cutting to certain lengths, or matching the finishes of two-piece racks to generate continuous lengths for a longer time than stock.
Racks, when used with spur gears, convert rotational motion to linear movement. EP Gear’s racks are designed to function with our inventory 14 1/2° and 20° PA spur gears. Typically, racks are modified to suit certain purposes. This could include drilling and tapping mounting holes, cutting to a certain length, or matching the ends of two racks to produce a longer constant length than inventory.
